All-American:

Liz Loveless was named the recipient
of the "ESPN The Magazine Second Team Academic All-American College
Division Women's Volleyball Team". Liz has been selected for the
past three years to the UAA's All-American Team.

Molly Leitch Freshman
goalkeeper Molly Leitch was named the Defensive Player of the
Week by the University Athletic Association.

The selection came for the week ending October 23 when the Yellowjackets
posted back to back victories over Nazareth College and SUNY Cortland
on the road. Leitch made six saves in 90 minutes to earn the victory
with a 2-1 triumph over Nazareth on Wednesday, October 20. Three
days later, she entered at halftime and made one save in 55:54
as the Yellowjackets edged Cortland, 2-1, in overtime. In 145:54,
Leitch made seven saves and allowed only one goal.
Paul & Daisy
Soros Graduate Fellowship for New Americans
(May 2003)
Jian F. Wong was a Finalist for the Paul and
Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans . Jian entered the University
of Rochester in the Fall of 1999 and graduated in 2003 with three
degrees: B.S., M.S. Chemical Engineering, and B.A. Economics with
a Citation of Special Achievement in Economic Theory and Application.
He also minored in Chemistry and a Certificate of Management Studies
in Finance . Jian is now pursuing his Ph.D. in Economics at Stanford
Graduate School of Business.
