Anthamatten wins Nontenured Faculty Award from 3M

(January 2007) Mitch Anthamatten, assistant professor of Chemical Engineering, has won a Nontenured Faculty Award from 3M. The award, provided by the 3M Contributions Program, provides research funds for basic research in the area of physical and/or biological sciences. Anthamatten's research group is attempting to use non-covalent interactions to guide the self-assembly of molecules into useful structures with applications that include fuel cells, solar cells, and shape-memory polymers.
