Seniors in Chemical Engineering can apply to the Take-5 program no later than the first semester of their senior year. If accepted into the program students will be granted one or two tuition-free semesters at the university in their fifth year of study to further their general educations. These courses cannot be applied towards additional degree requirements since the purpose of the program is to broaden a student's education and allow him or her to follow their intellectual whims.
